Grace Co-op Credit Union Ltd. seeks to identify a suitably qualified candidate for the position of SENIOR LOANS OFFICER.
Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent’s primary responsibilities will be:
- To ensure the effective initiation, generation, management and maintenance of the loan portfolio
- Educating and guiding members on how best to utilize the loan facilities and product offerings.
- To plan and co-ordinate the marketing activities of the Credit Union.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ credit union or banking experience, with loan administration responsibility.
- Prior experience (proven track record) in marketing / sales.
- Supervisory management training
Key competencies
- Excellent credit evaluation and sound delinquency management skills
- Well developed interpersonal, communication, and interviewing skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, displaying effective time management, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills
- High levels of initiative, and accuracy; whilst able to work under pressure.
- Flexibility with regard to working hours
- Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
- Knowledge of CUMIS PLUS software would be a distinct advantage
