Effective yesterday, July 1, FirstCaribbean International Building Society lowered its mortgage rates by 2.15 percentage points to 11.85%. The buidling society announced also that it’s offering a special rate of 10.4% — fixed for three years and variable after — to first time mortgage applicants who have an existing relationship with FirstCaribbean International Bank.
